“We are part of the Living Leadership program in which 30 executives take part. The 30 executives were broken down into 5 teams called Action Learning Groups. Each Action Learning Group is to lead a Wellness Exercise with a leadership theme. Our group was the first to prepare a Wellness Exercise, and we invited Percussimo to deliver a 30 leadership-themed session at our Living Leadership program this past December 2010. It was a resounding success.
Mr. Mbani provided instruments to 30+ people in a room and demonstrated how leadership can be expressed in anything we do, and how important it is for a leader to show leadership. He led us through a session and had a metronome lead us through another session. Since the metronome is an inanimate object, it was difficult for 30+ people to follow and we sounded desperately out of tune. However, when Mr. Mbani led, we were able to sound like an orchestra!
